Welcome to Sports Wellness Institute (“SWI”). Our learning programs help coaches strengthen their practice, support whole-person development, and connect performance with well-being.
These terms apply to your use of the SWI learning platform, including courses, downloadable resources, live learning sessions, and community features. By accepting these terms when registering or enrolling, you agree to the responsibilities and permissions described below.
Provide accurate registration information, keep your account details current, and use only payment methods you are authorized to use.
Your account is for your individual use. Do not share your login or allow another person to complete course activities under your identity. Contact SWI promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Learners under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian, who must also authorize any purchase.
Organizational enrollment does not authorize shared accounts. Each learner must have their own authorized access unless SWI agrees otherwise in writing.
Your course description and enrollment confirmation identify the program purchased, price, access period, completion requirements, and any included live sessions or community benefits.
Payment is due according to the terms presented at enrollment. Any recurring charges must be disclosed and authorized before purchase. Price changes do not alter an existing confirmed purchase.
Cancellations, refunds, transfers, and rescheduling are governed by the policy presented before enrollment or by a separate written agreement with SWI. Nothing in these terms limits cancellation or refund rights required by applicable law.
If your purchase or access does not match your enrollment confirmation, contact SWI so we can address the issue.
Course materials—including lessons, text, videos, audio, presentations, tools, worksheets, downloadable resources, graphics, and branding—are owned by or licensed to SWI. Applicable intellectual property rights remain with SWI or the relevant rights holders.
Enrollment gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access the course during the stated access period and use authorized downloadable resources for your professional development and coaching practice. It does not transfer ownership of the materials.
You may:
- Apply what you learn with the athletes, teams, and clients you directly support.
- Download resources made available for your individual coaching use.
- Print or share worksheets expressly designated by SWI for athlete or client use, keeping all branding, attribution, and copyright notices intact. Completing intended response fields is permitted.
Except as expressly permitted above, authorized in writing by SWI, or permitted by applicable law, you may not:
- Copy, record, alter, adapt, translate, rebrand, or create derivative versions of course materials.
- Sell, license, publicly post, or distribute SWI materials.
- Place materials in shared organizational repositories or distribute them across an organization.
- Use SWI materials to train or certify other coaches or reproduce the course as another educational program.
- Give others access to course lessons, videos, or restricted downloads.
Third-party materials remain the property of their respective rights holders and are subject to any accompanying usage restrictions.
Nothing in these terms limits uses permitted by applicable law, including fair use, or claims ownership of underlying ideas, facts, concepts, or coaching methods. For additional permissions, contact SWI before proceeding.
An SWI certificate is awarded only after the learner completes the stated program requirements. Enrollment alone does not establish completion.
The Sports Wellness Coaching Certificate recognizes completion of SWI’s educational program. It does not confer a professional license or authorize practice beyond your existing qualifications or legally permitted scope.
You may accurately describe an SWI credential you have earned. You may not use SWI’s name, logos, or materials to imply employment, partnership, endorsement, or authority to train or certify others without written permission.
SWI supports a learning environment grounded in respect, reflection, and constructive dialogue.
When participating in live sessions, discussions, or community spaces:
- Treat others respectfully. Do not harass, threaten, discriminate, impersonate others, or post unlawful content.
- Share only material you have the right to use.
- Protect the privacy of athletes, clients, colleagues, and fellow learners. Remove identifying details from coaching examples unless you have appropriate permission.
- Do not redistribute another learner’s contributions or record sessions without authorization.
- Avoid unsolicited advertising, spam, or promotional messages.
You retain ownership of your original submissions. You give SWI limited permission to host, display to the intended participants, and review those submissions as needed to deliver the program, provide feedback, and administer assessments.
SWI will seek separate permission before using an identifiable learner contribution or testimonial in public marketing. Community contributions may be visible to other participants; do not submit information that requires confidential handling.
SWI may moderate discussions and remove content that violates these terms.
SWI programs provide education and coaching development. They do not replace individualized medical care, mental health treatment, or other licensed professional services.
You are responsible for applying your learning appropriately, working within your qualifications and scope, and referring athletes or clients to qualified professionals when needed.
SWI does not guarantee particular health, performance, employment, or business outcomes.
Our
Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, and shared in connection with the learning platform.
SWI may send communications needed to administer your enrollment, course access, live sessions, and completion. You may unsubscribe from optional marketing communications using the link provided in those messages.
SWI works to provide reliable course access and responsive support. Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances outside our control. Contact SWI if an interruption materially affects your participation so we can review an appropriate resolution.
Links to external websites are provided for learning and reference. SWI does not control those websites or their content, availability, or privacy practices.
SWI may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address unauthorized sharing, misconduct, security concerns, or other material violations of these terms.
Where practical, we will explain the concern and provide an opportunity to resolve it. Immediate action may be necessary to protect learners, course materials, or the platform.
Any termination, payment, or refund consequences remain subject to applicable law and the enrollment terms. Ending platform access does not authorize continued misuse or redistribution of SWI materials.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SWI is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from platform use.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights.
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
SWI may update these terms as programs, platform features, or legal requirements change. We will identify the updated version and provide notice of material changes, requesting renewed acceptance where required.
Changes will not retroactively reduce the benefits of an existing confirmed enrollment without your agreement, except where required by law.
If SWI has entered into a separate written agreement with you or your organization, that agreement controls where it expressly differs from these terms.
